Naomi Worcester

Naomi Worcester is a wildlife biologist and field camp leader at Kure Atoll Wildlife Sanctuary for the State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural Resources. Her first tour on Kure Atoll was in summer 2010 and she has returned annually to continue the important work. Naomi received her B.Sc. in Botany at Portland State University. After graduation, she conducted remote fieldwork with USFWS, NOAA, UC Santa Barbara, and the National Park Service at research stations in Alaska, Washington, Wyoming, and the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Northern California before ultimately landing in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.
