Michelle Hester helped create the Kure Atoll Conservancy and now serves as a research associate guiding the STEM+Art education activities based on science conducted at Kure. She is the Executive Director of Oikonos Ecosystem Knowledge and brings 25 years of experience as a seabird ecologist and non-profit leader.
