Mahalo to everyone who has supported Kure Atoll Conservancy throughout the years to return Kure Atoll to a more natural, healthier, pristine state. We continue to need your help.
All proceeds and equipment donated/purchased will go directly to field operations and education efforts for Kure.
Kure Atoll is the only Northwestern Hawaiian Island that is managed by the State of Hawaii as a Wildlife Sanctuary which began after the US Coast Guard closed its LORAN station in 1993. The State of Hawaii authorities recognize the need to restore and manage Kure Atoll, but the current budget crisis has impacted funding for environmental projects. The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation has supported our restoration efforts since 2011 and your tax-deductible donations play a huge role in providing the required funds matching the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
